This beautiful hand-painted wooden cross is created by Christian Indigenous women from the Ltyentye Apurte (Santa Teresa) Community near Alice Springs, Australia. Each cross is an original “one of a kind” work of art, rich in faith, history, and cultural expression. Using traditional dot painting methods passed down through generations, the artists prayerfully paint each piece to reflect their spiritual journey and deep connection to God and their community.
